Our aim is to simplify your prescription ordering and collection. We can order, collect and deliver your prescription straight to your door. We collect prescriptions every day from all Ayr, Prestwick and Maybole surgeries as well as offering a free delivery service Monday-Friday.
Dispensing NHS prescriptions is at the heart of our pharmacy business and we strive to provide a quick and reliable prescription turnaround.
We hold a vast range of prescription medicines in stock, however, if we do not have your item in stock we have a highly efficient supply chain where we can source the majority of products same or next day.
Please see our dedicated page for prescription collection and local home delivery.
Collection and DeliveryPharmacy First replaces the old Minor Ailments Service and is available for all patients residing in Scotland. If you have a minor illness please visit or phone us before contacting your GP. No appointment is necessary. Pharmacists, like GPs, can only provide certain medicines and products on the NHS. If you want a specific product you may need to buy it. Our staff can advise you on this.
As experts in medicine, our team can give you advice and free treatment on prescription (if you need it) for minor illnesses such as the following:
Are you or a family member struggling to remember to take all your medication at the correct times? A compliance aid could help. We can fill a weekly compliance aid and deliver to you free of charge and will even take responsibility for the reordering of the medication.
Contact us to discuss your needs and let us organise this service with your GP.
We have monthly collections from Ayrshire and Arran healthboard of unwanted and unused medicines which are disposed of safely.
Our pharmacist can now give advice and/or treatment for uncomplicated urinary tract infections in women aged between 16 and 65 and impetigo in age 2 years and up as part of this exciting new initiative.
Enquire here or pop in for a chat with our pharmacist.
We can register you for this service if you have a long-term condition or regular repeat prescriptions. Your GP surgery can do a serial prescription for 24 or 48 weeks that we keep in the pharmacy and dispense at 4 or 8 weekly intervals as decided by the GP. This removes the need to order your repeat prescription from the GP surgery every time you need it. Your prescription will be ready to collect/deliver at the pharmacy when you require it. Please ask a member of staff for more details or enquire here.
